ok well for the last month ive been working on my necro monk and have stered away from my main account a lvl 20 ranger necro with all armour at 70. any way so i had a crack at making my own build....I FAILED. but i still really want to make one, mainly just to farm in ascalon hm..

this is my build atm

demonic flesh (gives me extra hp)
antidote signet (some devoeurs use 5 skills that give u a -5 regen)
distracting shot (for devoeurs anoying degen skills etc.)
disrupting shot (if i need time to use troll)
whirling defense (helps to protect my health)
lightning reflexes (same as whirling rly)
troll urgent (my only way to heal... it's barely worth having though)
brawling headbutt (basically hits guy down for 3 secs so i can heal)

how does my build fail?

well i start off casting demonic, then agro one devouer (i cant even kill 2 !) i use lightining to stop attacks and use disrupting when im on half hp and need to stop some attacks then distracting for the 5 condition skills they use. brawling is for time to cast troll. and when lighting finsishes i use whirling and so on...

soooo i thought it would be a good build but i can only get him onto half hp before i die!

i kinda wanna keep the base of this build so i can say i made up some of it.. so any tips? ( i got all 4 campaings and i can always add runes etc) thanks for reading all this writing

Pretty much all of the farming builds have been discovered so far. You could take one that's already out there and tweak it to your need.

Problem with your build is that you got very little dmg. Have you try going SS?

ahhh good idea so with that and whirling + anti dote technically it would be a good build?

Farming build= staying alive with as little skills as possible while making the most dmg you can.

Remember; dead stuff cant hurt you.

Also try some life sucking skills instead of troll unguent.

you "could" go toucher I guess

Vamp Touch
Vamp Bite
Offering of Blood

Then a bunch of stances to offset their Dshot like:

Whirling Defense
Lighting Reflexes
Dodge
Zojun's Haste

There's all sorts of variants you could consider too - throw dirt, plague touch (don't recall the conditions they apply) - PvE skills like Finish him etc.

Expertise will effect the touch skills and you only need to stat in Blood/ Expertise.

What other secondaries do you have available to choose from? Could look at some sort of barrage type builds or use a pet to farm w/ (cast on the pet and target it to an enemy while ensuring your outside of aggro - /Mo with smites work well along with BM skills etc.)

More energy =/= energy management, just delays the inevitable a short time. Try something using dwarven stability and escape. Then, maybe go /e for sliver armor.

ive tryed uw with like 8 other team mates using a simply trapper build, i got storm bow (purple but still max dmg) + ecto (when they were worth 5k

) and a terrible gold in one run! also ive got the barrage elite. any way my main question is-is can u still do a 4 team uw trapper thingy? if u used 3 trappers and 1 ele to kill those shadow thingy ma bobs would it work?
